Quality Water Filters 4 You Posting Page
Thursday, May 24, 2012
Drinking water is not as clear as it seems on the surface. Some people may have noticed that when they travel between states there is a different taste within the water. What most people don’t realize is that this is due to chemicals, contaminants and pollutants occurring naturally or, worse still, intentionally added by the state. Fluoridation is one such example, and illustrates the need for a water filter for fluoride.

How the water filter for fluoride works

There are different types of water filter for fluoride, but those that are purposely built for fluoride extraction in particular need a good activated alumina filter that can remove the excess contaminants, leaving behind only tasty, fresh water. It is worth checking with the Consumer Confidence Report online to see which contaminants are most prevalent in your state’s water before purchasing a filter, as different levels of filtration may be required based on the elements that need removing.
